Ruth Jörgensdóttir Rauterberg, ruth@hi.is is an adjunct lecturer and PhD candidate at the School of Education, University of Iceland. Ruth´s academic background lies in social education (BA, MA) and she has over 20 years of experience as a social educator, mostly in the field of education and leisure. Her research and practice focus on children’s participation in developing inclusive and democratic practices in schools and leisure environments. For that purpose, she has been exploring the methodology of Participatory Action Research.
